It’s that time again — see all the new and exiting product enhancements straight from the Clearwave Innovation Lab. Here’s the latest…

In our ongoing effort to enhance our solutions, based on your feedback, we are thrilled to introduce three new and enhanced features: Remaining Deductible now in the Dashboard and Clinical Intake integration enhancements for ModMed and TouchWorks EHR systems. These advancements are designed to optimize patient intake and staff workloads.

See Remaining Deductible Right in the Clearwave Dashboard!

Easily configure the display settings in the Clearwave Dashboard to see the remaining deductible for a patient’s primary, secondary and tertiary insurance. In both the “Visits” and “Appointments” views of the dashboard, your staff can quickly and accurately see relevant deductible information and take action. By streamlining the process of accessing deductible details, you can reduce errors, improve efficiency and enhance the patient experience. Key uses:

  • Reduce staff workloads: Save staff time by ensuring they no longer have to go patient-by-patient to review remaining deductibles. Instead, they can see the information right away on the dashboard.
  • Simplify payment calculations: Speed up payment calculations for insurance nuances and quickly uncover what the patient can expect to pay out-of-pocket.
  • Improve patient experiences: Simplify the collections process and payment conversation. Help staff quickly and accurately answer patient questions, even on-the-spot.
  • Accelerate Revenue: Use the remaining deductible to calculate the correct upfront payment amount and ensure you don’t miss out on a key collection opportunity.

Enhanced Clinical Intake

ModMed Update:

We will soon be updating clinical intake data capture to include Past Medical, Surgical, and Family History as well as Allergies and Medications. These patient responses will flow into the Patient Clipboard within ModMed EMA and a copy of all responses will be formatted as a PDF into the Patient’s Documents.

Now Offering Clinical Intake for TouchWorks EHR:

We will soon offer clinical intake via TouchWorks EHR. This new update will allow you to capture Patient Histories (Past Medical, Surgical, and Family), Allergies, and industry-standard screening questionnaires, such as a PHQ-9 or GAD-7. All patient responses will flow into NoteForms within Altera Touchworks and a copy of all responses will be formatted as a PDF saved into the Patient’s Documents.
